Will scar gel diminish stretch marks?

This product is truly meant for scars, not stretch marks, however if used according to the directions it can help to reduce the discoloration of the stretch mark and make the skin feel smoother.

Would this also be considered a moisturizer? I am looking for a scar cream and also a hydrating cream since I have dry/combo skin.

It is very soothing and moisturizing but is it light not rich and creamy. If you prefer more hydration you would layer a moisturizer over it.

Will this product work on scars that are at least 15 years old?

It will be but you will need to use it twice a day for a min of 2-6 months. If nothing else it will help to reduce the discoloration and smooth out the scar.

Can I put it on an open scar?

It’s best to wait until the wound has healed and the area is closed.

Can I use this on surgery scars?

Yes absolutely, apply twice a day for a min of 2-6 months.

Does it help with pitted acne scars?

Yes massage in twice a day for a min of 2-6 months.

Can I use the scar gel safely on my 8-year-old?
