Emu Tracks Emu Oil is fragrance-free. There are no additives, chemicals, or preservatives added to our oil. So, Emu Oil does have a very faint smell just like any oil from fats. However, about 15mins after application, the oil is fully absorbed into the skin, leaving no residue or smell. Some customers actually add a few drops of Lavender essential oil into a bottle of emu oil for a nice smelling application.
Why is the texture, colour and viscosity different from previous bottle?
Emu oil is a natural product. It is produced in batches and the texture, color can differ from batch to batch depending on the emu birds. The texture can range from clear looking oil to milky, creamy to grainy feel. The viscosity also differs, more so in colder climates.
